What file format would work best in CB?.stl files but is that the way I should go? In your opinion, what format should I ask that the file be put in?.Can you recommend anyone who can take a photograph and convert it to a file I can carve (not engrave)?.So, I thought I would ask you for your opinions: Then, I am having (at least I think so) issues with getting good quality looking carvings. Most could not follow simple instructions. I have spoken to about 30 people who claimed they could do it but sent results that were not even close. Since I cannot afford the software that I am told can do this, I went to and posted a request to have this file converted to. My main issue is getting the photograph converted to a file that CB and my CNC can carve. As a lot of you know I have been trying to carve out figures of animals on wood from a photograph using CB and my CNC.
